Getting to Seville by train, bus, or car

By train:

The Santa Justa train station serves as an important hub for connections between the Andalusia´s main cities and all of the Autonomous Regions of Spain and Europe. Major train lines from Madrid, Malaga and Granada converge here.

• AVEs (high speed trains), which daily connect to/from:

 

- Cordoba (around 34€ to 60€, 40 minutes)

 

- Malaga (23€ or 45€, 2½ hours)

 

- Madrid (usually 85€ to 160€, 2½ hours)

 

- Barcelona (145€ to 260€ 5½ hours)

 

• Regional and local trains. In addition to the AVE service, this modern station concentrates all railway traffic, with trains to various towns of the province, to all the capitals of Andalusia and to other Spanish cities.

 

If you are flying to Madrid, the high-speed train station can be reached from Madrid airport by either underground or taxi.

By bus:

Seville has two bus stations, each providing services to separate cities:

 

Plaza de Armas (bus station):

Prado de San Sebastián, just southeast of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, provides bus services to Seville province, cities of Andalusia, plus Barcelona, Cartagena, and Murcia, whereas Plaza de Armas, by the Puente del Cachorro, connects with Seville and Huelva province, rest of Spain, and Portugal.

By car:

Seville has now become one of Spain's best connected cities by road, with highways connecting all Andalusia´s main cities as well as Madrid and Portugal.
